All accommodation bookings at Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation (Buck Farm, Trafalgar, South Africa) are managed through our secure booking partner, NightsBridge. By placing a booking, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Reservations & Payments

  • All reservations must be made via the NightsBridge online booking system.

  • Payment terms (including deposits and balance payments) are displayed on the NightsBridge booking platform at the time of reservation.

  • Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation does not directly process payments or retain card details; all transactions are securely managed by NightsBridge.

  • A reservation is confirmed only once NightsBridge issues a booking confirmation and proof of payment.


2. Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds

  • Cancellations and amendments are subject to the cancellation policies displayed on NightsBridge at the time of booking.

  • Refunds, if applicable, are processed via NightsBridge under their terms.

  • No-shows or early departures will be charged in full.

  • Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation reserves the right to cancel a reservation in cases of:

    • Overbooking due to NightsBridge error.

    • Non-payment or invalid payment details.

    • Breach of these Terms by the guest.
      In such cases, a full refund of payments received (if any) will be made as the sole liability of Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation.


3. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: from 14:00 (unless otherwise arranged).

  • Check-out: by 10:00 (unless otherwise arranged).

  • Late check-out may incur additional fees.


4. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards the property, staff, neighbours, and other guests.

  • Guests are responsible for:

    • All breakages, damages, or losses caused during their stay.

    • Ensuring cleanliness of the accommodation on departure (reasonable use expected).

    • Complying with the House Rules provided at check-in.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all accommodation units. A cleaning penalty may apply if this rule is breached.

  • Pets are not permitted unless prior written approval is obtained.


5. Security Deposit (if applicable)

  • Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation reserves the right to require a refundable security deposit at the time of check-in.

  • The deposit covers damages, losses, or excessive cleaning.

  • Refunds will be processed after inspection, less any deductions, within a reasonable time after check-out.


6. Liability Disclaimer

  • Guests use Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation’s property, facilities, parking areas, and amenities entirely at their own risk.

  • Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation, its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for:

    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

    • Injuries, illnesses, accidents, or deaths occurring on the property.

    • Failures or interruptions of services (electricity, water supply, internet/WiFi, or NightsBridge systems).

  • Guests are advised to obtain adequate travel and medical insurance before arrival.


7. Force Majeure

  • Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation accepts no liability and is not obliged to provide refunds or alternative accommodation where the stay is affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

    • Load-shedding, water outages, or infrastructure failures.

    • Natural disasters, fire, or severe weather.

    • Strikes, government restrictions, or pandemics.


8. Termination of Stay

  • Trafalgar Farmstay Accommodation reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay without refund if:

    • Guests engage in illegal activities, disruptive behaviour, or breach of House Rules.

    • Guests damage property or pose a risk to others.


9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

  • Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
